Going Crazy!

You might think I'm crazy anyways for saying this. But I'm in love with a vampire. Just like most every other 20-30 yr old and every other teenager in the state of Utah right now, I am going crazy waiting for the 4th and final book of Twilight. I had just been introduced this book by my wonderful cousin and also a next door neighbor and thought... Oh my heck how ridiculous are they. Vampires. Thats one book I never have to get into. But with much pressure from everyone around me and finally saying what they heck.... I'm kicking myself in the pants now for ever reading them. And my husband is down right ready to divorce me. I have read, re-read and re-re-read these books. And still love the creativity and the dangerous love.
Well tomorrow midnight! The last and final book will come out. And you can better believe I'm going to catch as many parties and be standing in line for those hands on the 12 to hit! I will use physical force if I have to, to get my book. I am going crazy with what if or I wonder this. And then! What am I going to do when it's all over. Stephenie Meyer the author is writing from Edwards point of view. So, I guess that means that I can reread again and again until that comes out. I never thought that I would say I'm in love with a Vampire.

My typical day

Addie has a thing for "girly" things. Make-up lotions. While I was here doing this blog. She got a hold of my lotion! Need I say more.

Dress Up and Anniversary

We had a fun day of dress up yesterday. Whenever I shower Addison gets into my make-up. This time it's mascara and lipstick. Then she put my boots on and tried to walk around the house.

It was also Cory and My 3rd anniversary it was kind of a lax day he worked and hung out with Addie and went to the duck pond. We went to Tucano's a Brazilian type restaurant where they come around to your table the whole time with all different kinds of meat. YUM YUM! Then I made him go to the dollar store. I gave us both $2.00 to spend on each other. Whatever fun thing that we saw that reminded us of the other. I got Cory some Chocolate Cookies for his office and a helicopter thing that he can play with at his desk when he gets bored. He got me some great looking glasses because I like to read. And some wonderful gold beads.

We all had fun with the glasses!

Gone Country

Yesterday was a day of 1st's. Not only did I defeat the "Y". But we also went to the well known Spanish Fork Rodeo. We took all the kids. And everyone dressed up in the cowboy stuff (all but Keller) And headed out. I must admit. I wasn't prepared. I had never been to a rodeo. So, I didn't know how they got the horse to buck and so on. I didn't like it at first. But over all it was really fun. Addie loved seeing the "nah's". Keller and Preston loved the rodeo clown that did all the motorcycle stunts. And I think their favorite part was getting all the food. We loved it!

The "Y"

My friend an I made a big accomplishment yesterday. If anyone knows the "Y" its a the top of the mountain in Provo over looking all of the valley. We decided to take the kids up for a little hike. That's what I thought. I was told it was on a steep mountain BUT, that it was all switchbacks.
Meaning the trail just make "Z"'s going up the mountain. So, of course I thought how hard can that be. I'm writing it in big letters.
I WILL NEVER DO IT AGAIN! at least not pregnant and at 1:00 in the afternoon. That was the hardest dang walk I have ever done.

I will say that although it was tough it was a lot of fun. The kids had a blast and it was a great memory to make with them. Most of the time I feel like I'm encouraging my kids to do stuff , this time it was them encouraging me. And the view really was pretty. When I got to the top I plopped right down. But it really was amazing to see. And I'm glad I experienced it. Many times I had wanting to give up. But, the only thing pushing me was my kids that were always way ahead of me (and my friends 3 yr old that was beating me up it) me taking the picture and posting it on here and saying I did it. And of course coming home and again saying to Cory I did it.. I felt like Rocky Bolboa! ADRIAN!

3 LONG Years

Ok so tomorrow is Cory and My 3rd anniversary. I know it feels like it has been SO much longer. But anyways. I'm trying to come up with something fun to do for him that won't be to much money and more of just a great way to say "I love you."

I do appreciate everything that he has done for me and for this family. He is always so selfless in the things that he does. Always putting ALL of us first before him. I am truly thankful and blessed to have found him! So, if any of you have any idea's Please send them my way! Thanks!

It's A.......

As some of you may know we had our ultrasound today. And we found out that we are having another girl! I don't know how thrilled Cory is about this news. He was really wanting a boy. But I'm excited and I think that I would be really good for Addie to have a little sister to grow up with and be best friends when they get older. Not to mention that we won't have to buy all new stuff. We have it all! So it's pretty positive to because the guy that did they ultrasound took pictures between then legs. And he said they were the money shot. And "I could go to jail for taking these kinds of pictures."
So I think we have another girl thats going to wrap Cory around her finger!

Home Run!

Ok, I know that I already posted today. But I had to post this because it is such great news. I feel bad sometimes. Because I feel like I always post things about Addison. But, it like they say. She is a baby learning new things everyday that are so cute and she is the first and right now only girl! The boys love to see everything she does also. And I really try to praise them and make what they are doing a big deal.
Well to me this is! Keller has been on the local city baseball league and the finished the season and well needless to say Keller's team didn't do so "hot" so they are not going to the championships. But
a coach for one of the other teams called Keller and asked him to be on their team for the championships that are playing all next week. What a boost to Keller's ego! Sometimes I feel like he struggles to find his place and what he's good at. It's one thing to hear it from your parents. But to have someone see you at some games a recognize that you are good and have potential is another. We are so proud of him. So he will be playing for the Salem Giants! I will inform everyone on how he and the team does! Congrats Keller!
PLAY BALL!!

A little more Creative

So, you know how there are just some people that are "perfect" at everything. They have the cutest family, best relationship, everyone loves them and they are so creative it makes you sick. Well this post is devoted to one such as that. I wish that I could take that title. But..unfortunately I must pass that off to my sister-in-law Cami. She literally can take a pile of mud and make it look like a masterpiece. I envy her creative ability and wish that I could do and would want to take the time to do half those cute home decor things that she does and can do. I haven't asked her but I'm sure that she won't mind. She and a friend have whats called a make and take. I have attached the web site and put a few of the cute ideas that they have on here so if your interested by all means visit her! Among all her other projects ..She also does the Upper Case Living! See what I mean! She can do it all!

HIP HIP HooraY!

Well as some of you may know. (But if you don't). We are trying to move up North closer to all our family. This has been a huge ordeal because we have our house for sale and every house we like gets scooped up from under us. Isn't that frustrating. And well everyone knows Cory and I think our agent has gotten a little frustrated with him and told him he needs to be more realistic with some of his offers. He says its because he is just holding out for the right house.
Well I would like to report that we found the "right" house. But.... we didn't not yet. We do have one that we like but we are still waiting to hear from the bank because its in a short sale and they have approve everything. But... We have an offer on our house! YEAH! and as of yesterday we are UNDER CONTRACT! Which means that it might be getting closer. And all our relatives up Bountiful-Ogden way. Look out because we might need a floor to live on! Just wanting to share what I think is exciting news!

America The Beautiful!

We celebrated the 4th of July with Cory's family this year. We went to the boondocks a place called Hooper to watch the parade. It was really nice because it wasn't huge and was over in about 20 min.
Next we went to Cory's sister's house for a big bar-b-que. MMMM MMMM Good! The kids played on a big blow up swimming pool that had a slide and spray guns on it. The grown ups sat around and talked. It was nice and relaxing.
We did fireworks later that night. The boys had a blast. Addie liked it until the fire works would make the loud noises. She did hold a sparkler though. The rest of the weekend was spent looking for houses and laying around.
It's sad that I'm always reminded how lucky we are to live in a free country when we celebrate the holiday's like the 4th or Memorial Day. But, I know that we are lucky and I'm so thankful that we have been able to be here in a country to worship, believe and do the things that we feel WE want to do. Thank you to all those that have served our country! I am indebted to you!!
HAPPY 4th of JULY!

Camp Koholowo

The "dorms" (cado's girl is in the pink striped shirt)

trying to make the grass whistle

This week it has been YW Girls Camp. Need I say more. Being that I serve in the YW I was fortunate enough as to go up. But for some reason I was not prepared for what I was to receive. Our camp is up Payson Canyon called Camp Koholowo (try to pronounce that). The "dorms" are cement slabs with half a wall running through to seperate it into 2 rooms. (From what I hear the girls will climb the rafter from room to room.) Bunk beds line all the walls. And there are no mattresses. Just a wooden board. Thats what I was unaware of. I remember when I was in YW loving camp. And I have to say it was like bringing back old memories. I had some of my favorite girls sleeping right around me. But those favorite girls are also the loudest and giggle the most. And the one that you can't help but "love" ( I do really mean that) and is the one that laughs more than anyone else was the one right above me. So up till 3 sleeping on a wooden plank, you can only imagine I was not a happy Koombiah camper!
But I have to say it was a very spiritual experience and let me see a side of the girls I don't often get to see. From the embracing of someone else to someone who got their feelings hurt. To some of the girls I never would have expected get up and give their testimony. It made me feel very fortunate to be in the Young Women and be able to have them be my example.

My "Pretty" Girl

Yesterday was a pretty good day. The boys went playing with their friends. We went to Preston's baseball game and Addie tried her hardest to go see the horses. After being out in the 100 degree weather for almost 2 hours. We came home. I had to lay down I think the heat gets to me. So, Addie loves to come in my room and clear out my drawers. She found the one with some of my makeup. Need I say more!
She came out of the bathroom holding the mascara saying "Pretty" thats when I freaked I jumped up and she tore out of room crying. She knew what she was in for! Here are the results. After taking the pictures I showed her and she said. "Mess" Yep thats right.
